Happy Fall!!! We have a happy 7 month old baby!

Mia got a new basketball hoop from a family friend and absolutely loves to play with her Daddy!

Highlights from the past month!

• Being much more mobile! Mia is moving all over in circles as she figures out how to scoot around the room! 
• Mia will even wave at you! Maybe not on command but she enjoys waving at trees, the window and lots of other objects! 
• A third tooth has decided to make its way in! It officially broke the gumline yesterday!
• Eating real table food. Mia loves cheese, spaghettio's, ravioli and rice. We even tried feeding ourselves and instead we decided to play in our food!
• Mommy takes me shopping quite a bit....because I always need diapers or food! I get tuckered out fast!
• ....and the most fun thing this month has been going to the Pumpkin Patch and picking out some pumpkins with her friend Samantha!!

     

Daddy dresses Mia up for his Vikings! He claims she is his good luck charm! When you are as precious as Mia how can you not be!

Emily's sister in Korea sent her a beautiful Korean outfit and accessories. 

Target is my favorite store!

I get to read the Sunday paper with Daddy! But then they take it away from me!

I love playing with my socks and toes! My Daddy lets me watch cartoons when Mommy isn't looking!

Learning to feed myself is so much fun....my Mommy really LOVES my messes! ;)

The goats kept trying to eat my socks!

Pumpkin Patch makes me tired!

Reading my Bible every night before bed and upgrading to the bath tub...no more baby tubs!

Mia - 6 Months Old

Mia turned 6 months old today! WOW! Time has really flown. Is my baby already half a year old??

In the last two weeks, Mia has 2 teeth!!! We roll over all the time especially at bedtime! Mia loves to eat her toes and anyone else's who are near her! She still loves to be outside. Yesterday, Mia went to her first Hawkeye tailgate! 

We're working on crawling but we still don't quite get it! We are attempting to get on our knees though! Mia still is eating baby food and has discovered she dislikes peas, peaches, pears and is not a fan of sweet potatoes. She does enjoy carrots, green beans, mixed veggies, garden veggies, chicken and noodles, etc! 

After a long day of shopping and no napping with Mommy and Grandma Kris, 

Mia decided to crash on the walk to the car!

I absolutely love swinging!!!!

Favorite thing to do: walk around!!!

Sure Dad, I'll eat some of this grass that you told me not to!

Mommy's 26th Birthday

Yesterday was Mommy's 26th Birthday! We celebrated by taking naps and going out to eat at HuHot with my buddy Sammers and her family!

Mia - 5 Months Old!

Mia is 5 months old today! We have upgraded from the baby newborn blue tub to our new seal bathtub! Mia has started eating baby food and absolutely loves it! She devours most containers in a meal!! I think her favorite of the three we have tried so far is carrots! She wasn't a huge fan of the peas but she still ate them! Our little diva is growing up so fast! Daddy hung her swing under our deck and it is one of Mia's favorite past times! She loves to be outside. We are working on sitting up unsupported. Mia can sit up by herself for about 5 minutes until she gets wobbly so we are really close to being an unsupported sitter!!!

Mia - 4 months

Our little bundle of joy is growing up so fast! On July 16, Mia turned 4 months old! WOW! It's amazing what she has learned in a month! With the heat and the humidity, Mia enjoys hanging out in her baby pool! She even got to go to an aquatic center with cousins Dawson, Carter and Jessie. Also new in the last month, Mia learned to roll over from her tummy to her back! She actually doesn't hate tummy time anymore! She loves to sit in her Baby Einstein and jump and watch the lights on her shapes light up and play music. We've even almost mastered sitting up all by ourself!!!

She enjoys going on walks and runs with Mommy and Daddy too! Mia recently learned to pull her paci in and out of her mouth! We have a schedule baby growing up here! She has just recently been learning to sleep in her crib for naps instead of her Mommy's bed! We've had a few melt downs but we're getting through it and she is now putting herself to sleep for naps! WOO HOO!!

Mia eats rice cereal now however she prefers the apple flavored one! Can we say diva?! Mia also got to meet Cousin Drake this past month!

Mia's 3 Months Old

Mia is 3 months old! We had her Baby Dedication on June 17 where we also got to celebrate Jake's first Father's Day! Mia loves to go for walks and talk and coo! She has learned to scream if we don't pay attention to her! It's quite adorable! Mia doesn't particularly love tummy time although she loves her Boppy! She has even started to push her way out of the boppy! Silly girl! Mia loves her schedule and so does her Mommy! We now have her on such a good schedule that she is able to sleep for a good 3 hour nap during the day. Mia also loves to sit in her baby pool!
